Why does version 2 not work with Windows 8.1?

The program doesn't work on Windows 8.1 because it has been discontinued. I checked the official website, and it now leads to a page specifically placed when the domain expired. This means the website/business was discontinued as well. That could be the cause to your issue. However, if you have the software installed, right-click it and choose Properties > Compatibility. Select a previous version from the list and launch the software. It should work this way, or it will give you additional errors.

I got Welcome to the Catholic Church to work by disconnecting my computer temporarily from the internet.

I got it to work with Windows 10 (64-bit). Just disable your network card in Windows Device Manager. Then it will run perfectly. Don't forget to re-enable your network card (in Device Manager) after you finish running the program.
