Our Application is running an Intranet-server (Windows 2012 with IIS 8.0 using ASP.NET 4.0) in our local domain. The URL basicaly can be opened – no problem. It takes a maximum of 2 sec and it is displayed on the screen in IE. It's an on the fly created ASPX-site fully designed in the code. Div-design built out of data from our database.

Debugging the application in Visual Studio 2015 local on the IIS Express (installed with VS 2015) shows the the "Download"-message in 2 sec and Adobe Reader opens the file. Any suggestions - any solutions to that problem available?

I recommend checking the online documentation because the issue you're experiencing is nowhere mentioned on the web. I've also used the resources on the official website, and the only thing close to diagnosing this issue is the manual and the documentation for this software.

Note: Some of them can be downloaded while others can be watched online in a browser.

I had the same problem and realized that when I switched to IIS express on the local machine, the problem went away. I was debugging my solution using the local IIS option and that was causing theA issue. Hope that helps.
