Is there a workaround for Vspmgr not saving the virtual COM ports? Running Windows 10 64 bit. Every time I shut the computer down upon restart I have to reinstall the virtual COM ports.

In Windows 10, you will have to disable Driver Enforcement, because when you add a virtual COM port, a driver is installed.

To disable Driver Enforcement, go to Start > Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Press
7 > Restart.

After this procedure, install the software, add the COM ports and launch the software as Administrator. Finish the configuration and reboot the PC - the COM ports will be there.
