If you have alternative security measures in place, you will actually need those or you'll be locked out. Yahoo detects it when an IP has been changed, and it will ask you for confirmation code. You won't be able to access the email unless you enter that code. Believe me, I also tried it with Gmail and got myself locked because the SMS verification didn't arrive.
