There are various ways to analyze and remove protection for something, but you will have to know what is the exact protection for that disc or you won't have the possibility to remove it. For various discs, custom tools need to be made in order to bypass their protection.
You can try apps from the DVDFab website in order to remove the protection. It might not be successful, but at least the software might give you details about the protection in place.
