How broad may I build the tree within my 2 TB NTFS storage? Are there any limitations how many items/subfolder allowed? Within the 1st,2nd and 3rd generation?
I prefer a broad tree than a deep one with 'speaking' names of folders. I want to save my 1TB disc twice to a 2 TB one.

Thanks for the answer.

NTFS system allows an infinite number of folders on the folder structure because it is not limited like in FAT32 file system. You can create as many folders as you like but if we are talking about numbers bigger than 100.000 then Windows might encounter problems while navigating and the only solution will remain navigating through a command prompt. Make sure to keep track of the created folders so the navigation will remain possible.

Okay, I haven't seen that error before. The only thing I can suggset is to uninstall the app and then right-click on the installer and choose run as administrator , follow the prompts and see if that works. As for RockPod 09, forget it because RockPod 3 is now out. You'll find it in the new January 2010 issue of PC User, out today!Cheers,Darren.
