The thing with Windows 7 64bit is a little different because of the architecture the operating system uses. As I read on the forums it seems that you can only install the software but not the drivers in your new system because they are not compatible no matter the way you are trying to install or the tweaks you made to the files. I am afraid that you will need to use the previous operating system because you will not be able to make this work in a 64bit environment.
