MAPI failure unspecified error.

I had an Office update on December 24, 2015, since then I receive a MAPI failure: "Unspecified error" when trying to email a document, PDF, etc. I have to attach the document through the open email screen, I can not send any documents to the email to send. How to correct this issue?

According to various reports, there is a graphical item in the file that isn't recognized by Office, therefore it gives the MAPI failure. I recommend checking the document you're sending. Make sure that all the files are working and don't have issues. To do that, use an image viewer and open then separately on your PC. If an image doesn't load properly, then you will see what the problem is. Replace the file and then try to send again. Reinstalling Office won't do any good since the problem is with the content.
