Applications tend to crash once in awhile. This is actually normal because the causes can vary. However, if your app crashes, restart the application and check its behavior. You can do this 2-3 times in a row. If it doesn't start properly, then you need to make sure that the data you have is safe. Back up your data to another location, then use the installer of the software to repair it. This is recommended in case files or registry items were corrupted.
If it doesn't work after a reinstall, completely remove it and then install it back.
