I am trying to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I get an error code of 0x80080005-0x90016. I did a search on that error and you software came up advising it would fix it. So against my better judgement I paid a subscription. I have now run your software and as far as I can see it has done nothing. I have again run the Windows 10 upgrade and still get the same error code.

This is a problem with the Windows Update not updating the applications properly. I recommend checking the system for errors using Command Prompt (run as Administrator) followed by sfc /scannow. This process might take a while, and it's recommended to avoid using the computer while it finishes the procedure.

Retry update, and if you still encounter the issue, use the Media Creation Tool to manually update to Windows 10.
