The UCBrowser was primary developed for mobile phones and when it was released on the market, the speed and performance made it to be very reliable. However, things changed since it was released multi-platform (Windows included).
The only way to see if the browser is good is by testing it to see how it works under heavy load. Load many websites with static and animated content and then you should see. Use Chrome or Firefox with the same tabs and then check the performance to see which one is better.
