Both MapPoint and Mapland allow you to integrate the content of spreadsheets into an interactive map of the world, so as to dinamycally display and substantively present business, marketing, or scientific data, by relating it concretely to geographic positions. Both programs integrate well with the main Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Front Page, or Power Point, and they allow you to easily upload your presentations online. Nevertheless, MapPoint also offers constantly updating GPS-services for all in North America, and it provides more extensive tools for analysing the data that you plug into the program. As such, it proves a more comprehensive program than Mapland, and gains the edge over its competitor.
