I am trying to install Software Informer. When I click on the exe file to install, I get an error message: 'Invalid floating point operation'. What is this and how can I solve it? I am using Windows XP.

This is usually caused on Windows XP SP2 machines. You will need to install Service Pack 3, or upgrade to a newer version of Windows in order to install the application. After Service Pack 3 was installed or you upgraded to a newer Windows version, use the link below (which points to the latest version) and try installing it again.

Upgrade to SP3: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/learn-how-to-install-windows-xp-service-pack-3-sp3
