Cannot connect my camera

I just bought a Hongjiantian 720P IP camera. After I downloaded the IP camera client, I connect it to the PC, then I try to connect to the IP address, but it displays a "Page not found" error message or I try to connect to the IP address through IE and it's still not found. What is the problem?

You can't connect because you have to establish a direct connection to the camera. Plug the LAN cable to the camera and to your computer. Then go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections. Right click the adapter and go to Properties > IPv4. Assign the IPs according to the manual of the camera, then you can connect using any browser installed on your computer.
