If you have issues with the printer, then I recommend you to perform diagnostics. Firstly, go to Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) and make sure that the printer is installed. If no yellow items are displayed, proceed to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Devices. Locate the printer and right click it then select Enable and Default, then try to print again. If you still have issues, uninstall the driver and software and install them back.
