Problem connecting PC Time Clock server with Chipdrive Time Recording.

I turn on the PC as usual, but this time when I plug in the FP terminal, neither the PC Time Clock Server and Time Recording recognize it. I checked Comm Setup and everything is as usual. Why this happens and how can I fix it?

If the device you're attaching to PC is using a driver, then you should check to see if the driver is still installed or recognized. In many cases this is the primary reason for various errors with devices. I recommend going to Device manager on your PC to check for driver's installation.

Go to Start > Run (Windows key + R) > devmgmt.msc. Attach the device and see if a yellow sign appears. In case there is one, reinstall the driver for the device using the driver installation package or CD and reboot the PC. It should work afterwards.
