VirtualBox features an automatic update features that can be triggered using the File menu. Open VirtualBox and go to File > Check for updates. A new window will appear with a progress bar. If there are any updates, VirtualBox will prompt you to download them, in case there aren't, it will display a message that the current product is already updated to latest version.
