How to add BitComet to firewal exceptions?

Looks like my BitComet can't download because of firewall preventing it. How do I make the firewall exclude it from a list of blocked programs?

To add the software to the exception list, start the antivirus/Internet security application. Locate the Firewall module and then use the buttons on the interface to add the program to the exclusion list. If it's necessary, tick the application to be allowed to communicate with Internet. This is the standard procedure for almost every antivirus/Internet Security application released for users.

After you add the program to the exclusion list, open a Command Prompt as Administrator and type: ipconfig /flushdns. Reboot the PC and the BitComet application should start the downloads.
