How to make an animated gif with Paint.NET? What image formats are suitable for creating GIFs in this program?

There are two ways you can use to create an animated GIF. Keep in mind that a GIF uses frames and you will need many frames if you want a complex animation.

1. Use a plug-in called Paint.NET Animated Gif Plugin. Load the plug-in, add the pictures and then you can use it to export to GIF.

2. Create Frame1, Frame2, Frame3, Frame4, Frame5, etc and join all of them in successive order using an application called UnFREEz.
