The I/O error is called an Interpretation error and it occurs when Windows tries to read the disc that you are burning, interrupting ImgBurn. You can fix this by doing the following:
- Close ImgBurn and remove your CD.
- Restart Your computer.
- Open Task Manager
- Close all unnecessary programs and processes (iTunes, iTunes helper, etc.)
- Open ImgBurn and insert your CD/DVD while keeping Task Manager open.
- Find ImgBurn in processes and right click it. Then go to Set Priority -> High
- Burn the CD/DVD
