I want to keep some of my Tivo recordings to download to my laptop. However, they will not play on my PC. Will this software convert these videos?
No, ConvertLite doesn't have the possibility of converting TIVO files because it doesn't have support for them. Even if you manage to install a codec pack, the application won't know how to open the files for conversion.
There is another application called Free Video DVD Converter Ultimate that supports converting TIVO files to another common format.
