Total Commander can be used to compare both files and folders. For directories, you should use the function synchronize dirs:
- Select the folders which you want to compare.
- Choose commands - synchronize dirs.
- Choose the options Subdirs, by content and ignore date.
- Click compare.
- Click the = (equals) button to hide/show equal files.
