I have installed the application and encountered the same issue as you. I tried to make a timetable, but the program is too complicated to be used without knowledge or guidance. Therefore, I went to the Help > User Guide and a wiki page opened up.
However, from what I have seen, you will need to define a few parameters before the time table can be created. You can access the Support button on the main interface to obtain details on how to Get Started. That button links to the the same URL posted below, only that it can be accessed within the application without opening a browser window. The image looks like this:
