No, there is no speed limit when it comes to the Copy operation. TeraCopy has been designed having no restrictions in the terms of the speed. It will always try to copy files with maximum speed and efficiency. This means that as long as your computer supports it, TeraCopy will always copy files with the maximum speed it. However, this speed is greatly influenced by the disc activity present in the moment when you copy a large file.

While copying too many small files at once or while copying a big chunk of file I observed that its slow and takes a lot of my time to do such simple task. One day while searching for possible solutions I found people discussing about GS Richcopy 360, after trying its trial version I felt that its good and I should continue its use. You should also give it a try, it has lots of features and its way better than teracopy!

There is no option to limit the transfer speed in Teracopy but you can find an effective option to limit the transfer speed in tools like Duplicati and Gs Richcopy 360 , check the trials first
