What are recording parameters for recording from a keyboard to computer?

What are recording parameters for recording from a keyboard to computer? I only seem to record the percussive noise it striking the keys. What am I missing?

There are no special parameters that you need to select. Just make sure to select the Software option in the Parameters to record the sound generated by your computer. If you choose the other option, the software will record the sound coming from Microphone. This includes keyboard typing, environment noise, etc. Install the application and click the Parameters button, then you can record the sound generated from the applications.
