I'm trying to get access to the program Family Tree Legends, but a window displays a text stating "Cannot find import; DDL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version. File ........, error 126". What should I do?
This happens when the files from the program are corrupted. Without touching any other files, I recommend immediate installation of the application. It doesn't matter if it's already installed, because the setup package will overwrite the system files needs to run the program. At the end of the procedure, reboot the PC and then launch the application again and it should work normally.
It turns out that this problem only occurs when on Windows 10. I've tried to install (several times) on three diffenrent machines running W10 with no succes, but on W7 I could install almost troublefree remembering to find and include the missing DLL-file.
