My computer froze while working with a file in Corel Draw 9. After rebooting the computer the file does not open in Corel Draw any more, neither does the back-up file. It is also not importable. I get the message that this format is not supported. Any solutions to this?

No, there is no way if the backup file was affected as well. It's impossible to repair the file. No repair software will restore the missing content out of nowhere is there is no single resource, which means you should avoid using one. You might need to re-create the file one more time.

In the future, configure the backup using the settings from Corel website: http://howto.corel.com/en/c/Backup_and_Recovery_in_CorelDRAW_X6
