Google Drive now allows you to share your files and folder from the web version and the desktop version. From the web version, simply click a folder or a file then press the Get link (chain icon). By default the link is available immediately to be shared. On your computer, wait for the folders and files to sync then navigate to the cloud folder. Right click on a file/folder and choose Share. A new link will be generated, then you have the possibility of spreading the URL to your friends and family.
