Why is there a black screen with new K-Lite?

I installed new version of K-Lite Codec pack, but my videos now play with sound and black screen. What do I do?

When there is a black screen, but you still have audio, it means the player isn’t configured properly. Access the settings menu of the player you’re using and then try switching the renderer. Change the renderer, then restart the player and continue with this procedure until the files are playing normally. Additionally, reset everything to how it was using Codec Tweak Tool -> Settings -> Reset. The application is found in the installation folder of K-Lite (typically in Program Files. )

Add your app exename to "Use ffdshow only in:" list and remove (if exists) from "Donť use ffdshow in:" list.
