I cannot change the properties on the files produced by Fairstars CD Ripper.

The only reason you can't change the properties of the files produced by Fairstars CD Ripper is because of the Read Only tag applied to the files. To remove this attribute, locate the files, then press CTRL + A and right-click them. Choose Properties and untick the Read Only marker. Once you do this, the files will be available for editing.

Additionally, log-in with an user that has Administrator rights to make things simpler.

Thanks for responding, but this is precisely what I cannot do. The Read Only Box is not checked, but it is as if it were. I have tried checking it, then unchecking it, but it makes no difference.
