Need directions on how to disable or uninstall Android bloatware on my phone. Found an article on phone from How-To-Geek by Chris Hoffman June 2, 2012, but I can't find it on the geek page on computer. It tells how to freeze the apps, but I don't want. It shows pictures I need to look at while freezing the apps. Can someone help me?

You can "freeze"/disable applications using Settings > Applications > All. However, in most of the cases, when you reboot the phone, these applications start all over again. To remove bloatware, you first have to unlock the bootloader.

You can do this using the following URL: http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader

After the bootloader was unlocked, you can proceed rooting the phone. You need to follow the URL to access the guide on XDA Developers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/general/guide-how-to-unlock-install-recovery-t2988292

Note: This process is very dangerous and can brick your phone. Use it with care and maximum responsibility.

This is a great answer. Thank you so very much for answering my android phone question, and how to freeze and root it. I am sure there are a lot of people out there that have android phones who would also like this answer. I'm not sure if I will do this as I am not a phone or computer "geek", I just know enough to be dangerous. So I will put my phone in the hands of a friend who can do the job correctly.
Again, thanks so much for my answer.
