FLV to MP4 converting takes a long time

I'm using IdealShare Video Go for the first time. I'm converting a 1 hour long FLV to MP4 and over 8 hours have gone by, progress is just 21%. Is this right?

Yes, this is normal if you choose the high settings for the output file. You can do a few things to speed the conversion process:

• choose another output resolution and lower the video bitrate.
• choose another output file container (eg. AVI)
• avoid using the computer while the conversion takes place.
• add more CPU processing power by replacing the CPU.
• set the affinity of the CPU from Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Escape)
