Yes, there are plenty applications that you can use to edit and view PDF files. I personally recommend Adobe Acrobat Pro DC because it's the native application used to view and edit everything about PDF files. It can be a bit pricey, but it has all the necessary functions to create, edit, and export the files.

I like to use Foxit PDF Editor, which is the easiest one to use - my personal experience.

Me too. I like Foxit not only for its PDF editing but also PDF reading on computer with big screen.

You also can open a pdf file with MS Word 2013 using the option "Open with"

I use a great web program called 'PDF escape' that allows one to upload, edit and download the resulting PDF file. PDF Merge is a good PDF merging website as well as just plain old Adobe Acrobat (It costs though)

Foxit, I only use this pdf viewer, and I think it is the best pdf software.
