HP Basic Color Match and Windows Updates.

Microsoft recently installed 22 updates. Now I can no longer use HP Basic Color Match with my Printmaster 15 program. It worked prior to these updates. I use Laserjet printers CP1215 and HP2600n for all documents. How can I get HP Basic Color Match restored?

The only way to overcome this issue is to download an updated version of the Basic Color Match application. However, to download it, you will have to use HP ToolboxFX. You can also follow the guide on the HP website. Another solution is to apply a compatibility tweak for the application. Locate the executable, right click it and then go to Properties > Compatibility. Choose another Windows version that you know is compatible with the Basic Color Match tool and then launch it.
