I am new to OneNote and I would like to create a To Do List in OneNote. Then create a macro that will generate the number of outstanding To Dos on each sheet in a group to an Excel spreadsheet. In the Excel spreadsheet I need the outstanding To Dos (what sheet it came from). This output will populate the Excel spreadsheet for pie charts. Is this even possible?

I don't think there is a way to do this because OneNote won't allow you to create Excel spreadsheets. The only thing you can do is to make an Excel file embedded inside OneNote. For this process I recommend accessing the websites listed through the Google Search.
