Return the desired Z coordinate of an element.

I am currently using the Excitech Toolkit so as to obtain the XYZ coordinates of an element. However, I have noticed that the Z value are obtained from the highest point of an element. May I know if there is any other way that I can set to return the Z value from the lowest point of an element? Thanks in advance, appreciate your quick reply.
