I have a Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n in my HP Pavilion dv7-6b56nr. I want to replace this card with the one that will handle 5Ghz as well as 2.4 Ghz. It must also handle Bluetooth. The OS is Windows 8.1

You need to consult the manual to see where the wireless module is located. Once you identify it, pick a screwdriver and unlock the side of the module. Gently take it out and disconnect the black wire. Replace it with another wireless module and connect the black wire. Turn on the laptop, install the drivers and the module should be functional. For the BT part, I believe the process is totally different. According to the manuals on the web, the wireless module is on the middle section of the back cover.
