Yes, the software is able to backup a network drive, but to do that you have to manage the drive first. Open Computer, then press the Map Network Drive. Assign a letter to the drive and launch the software. Choose the drive and configure any other backup parameters, and that's it. The software will begin the backup procedure. However, if it's a system drive, it will not backup MBR or GPT partitions, only the content, since there is no exclusive access to the physical drive.
