Typying in Malayalam is done by using the new support from Google input tools webpage. Visiting the page created by Google will give you the possibility to download the language and the support engine. Please use this link and select the language you want and click on Download. Upon downloading, run the file that is given to you and wait for installation. The language is automatically installed and ready for use once the setup finishes. You can change between the default language installed onto your operating system and Malayalam using LEFT ALT+ LEFT SHIFT key combination.
