RT3070 IC MAX I/O Voltage information.

I would like to ask about one of your IC, exactly the RT3070. I would like to get exact information about the maximum I/O voltage, that the IC can be used.

In the datasheet of the IC I found that this value is MAX 3,46V. But one of our supplier uses this IC with 5V, and we would like to know if is it a right usage or not? Anyway we think it causes a problem in the usage of the device. But we need on official standpoint of the producer.

There isn't anywhere specified about the maximum voltage I/O of the device specified anywhere. The only thing available about this is on the Mediatek website. Access the website and then use the CTRL + F to look for the product. Secondly, use the Contact US page and send an email to the developer explaining the request and he should provide additional information.
