Can't detect server error.

I have Video Server S which I use to monitor my business. I have not been able to use it for a while. Installed disc again but getting "Can't detect server". Can anyone help?

If the software has been installed again, then you will have to reconfigure it. The first thing you have to do is to get the IP of the server. This can be obtained from its interface, if it has an OSD menu, or using the ping command to ping its IP. Once you find the IP, re-configure Video Server S and make sure the software is added to the exclusion list in Firewall.
