Is there a new Android version available to update Samsung Galaxy S2?

There are two ways to check for firmware update regarding this phone:

  1. Use Kies, the official application for Samsung phones. You can download Kies through the application's page at Software Informer . Install the app, connect the phone, and then you should be notified about any updates.

  2. Use OTA (Over The Air) to update the phone using Wireless.

You can check below the versions of Android supported by this phone:

  • Android OS, v2.3.4 (Gingerbread), v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), upgradable to v4.1 (Jelly Bean).
