The problem you are facing is strictly related to incompatibility between your home PC and your laptop. Make sure that the laptop meets the minimum requirements before installing the software. Also if the program is from 2009 and you have Windows 7/Vista installed on the laptop, then this could be the problem and I suggest running the application in the Compatibility mode
. Installing the software shouldn't be a major problem. After you have installed it, right click on your main executable option of the software and choose Properties
, then Compatibility tab
. Select Windows XP
from the drop-down menu. Most applications run in a proper way using this operating system. This little tweak will solve the problem you are facing.
