I am absolutely sure that the crash was caused by other mods. I play the game too and it works normally. However, the simplest way to diagnose this error is to disable all the mods and then manually attempt to re-create the SIM while you activate one mod at the time. By doing this you identify the mod that's causing problems. Alternatively, if you have the game through Origin, right click it and check for Updates, because this could also be a bug in the game that can be fixed with the help of a patch update.
