It's possible that you attempt to modify a Read-Only template or, alternatively, the templates that are used within the program are actually password-protected. The first thing you need to do is to locate the files on your hard drive. Right click the executable file on your desktop, then go to Properties > Open File location. Locate the templates, then right click them and deselect Read Only. Start the application and try to use the templates again.
For the password protected situation, you will have to contact the developer of the application. Press F1 and go to Help > Contact and use the information to contact the developers of the application. They should provide all necessary details or passwords for the templates.
