False positive alerts.

We are using EMCO professional, we have it setup on a single PC in our office to monitor our remote data center and all the individual VM at the data center, the problem is if our local office's Internet goes down it will still assumes that the server has gone down. Can this software detect if the local Internet is the issue for example if the local gateway fails and not send a false alert?
