Error sending email.

Question

I am running Windows 7 and Integrator 6.7.0.4 and Java 1.7.0_45. I am getting the following errors when trying to send an email from a script:

Generate (haywood.TmtransRptx)... Compile (haywood.TmtransRptx)... Start executing class(haywood.TmtransRptx) ERROR - Failed to send mail cause: javax.mail.MessagingException: Can't send command to SMTP host; nested exception is: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error ERROR - Failed to send mail cause: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error Done

Any thoughts on the cause and solution?

As the error shows, there is a problem with the software. In this case, I recommend re-installing the Java package. Make sure the IBS Integrator is turned off before doing this. Alternatively, the software can't send the email because there was an error within the application or the port used to send the email is locked because of another application. Close all apps and then try to send he email again. It should work this way. If you still have issues, go to Help > Check for Updates and update the product to the latest version.
