Extract phone number from scanned newspaper image.

I want to extract phone numbers from image file (i.e. scanned newspaper classified column page). How do I do it?

This application is not suitable for the operation you want to perform. According to the official website, you can extract numbers from the following files: PDF, doc, DOCX, XML, HTML, xls, ppt, xlsX, PPTX, RTF, POT, DOT, DOTX, DOTM, CSV, ASP etc. There is no mention about IMAGE files in any of the available format. In this case, I recommend downloading ABBYY FineReader. The application is capable enough to recognize numbers and characters from images.
