Information about editable PDF file.

I currently use KIP Request to print my house plans to PDF for my clients. I have a client that has the ability to make minor changes to PDF files; however, she can't edit the PDF files generated by KIP. She says they appear to be an image. Is there a way for me to make it a "readable" file instead of just an image?

You will need an OCR application to be able to make editable PDF files. Images saved on PDFs can't be edited and placed back. The content is static. However, plans should be saved as another format to make them editable (eg. AutoCAD). For everything else, simply use OCR and then export to PDF format. Browse the database of Software Informer to find applications from this category.
