Is it possible to get the Zoom G7.1ut Editor to run under Windows 8.1? If so, then how? I have tried downloading the .NET component for 8.1 but the Editor still does not run.

Yes, the application is running just fine in Windows 8.1 Pro x64. I was able to extract and run it without any errors. I have also downloaded the free package from the official website. Just make sure to run the extractor and the application as Administrator (right click G7ED.exe and select Run as Administrator).

Thankyou for the reply. I am pleased to hear that you have had success. Unfortunately I still cannot get the application to start up. I have ensured that I am logged in as administrator and have uninstalled, downloaded and reinstalled the application three times but still it will not run. I have Windows 8.1 running in 64 bit, but I don't think that it is the Pro version. Perhaps that is the answer. I also suspect that it might have something to do with the .NET Framework versions. The Zoom site only mentions version 1.1, but this is not available under Windows 8.1.

I have also tried the Run As Administrator and the XP compatibility settings, but again with no success.

Any further help or advice would be appreciated.
